The Gosh of Oshkosh

This DC-3 came off the assembly line in 1942 and headed to the United Kingdom, where it supported Eighth Air Force bombers during the war. In 1944 it towed gliders in the Normandy invasion. After the war it came home and was turned into a freighter, which explains the well-worn look.
