Physician and astronaut Rhea Seddon (here on STS-58) has spent more than 722 hours in space. The three-time shuttle veteran retired from NASA in 1997, and is now the assistant chief medical officer of the Vanderbilt Medical Group in Nashville, Tennessee.

This new barcode scanning feature in Air & Space is fantastic.
I would like to have seen all of the 'thumbprints' appear before individual photos, to act as an index. I scrolled thru all pics, forwards and backwards before I found thumbprints. Touching picture simply advanced to next rather than zoom in/out. Also, 'previous/next' are too close to picture - I sometimes touched picture when I really to move 'previous/next'.
Thanks for including this advancement in technology in Air & Space - this makes an already amazing magazine so much better.

Karen Nyberg has a beautiful blonde hair, regardless of gravity... the other ones are indeed forgettable :)
