Aviation Art: The Lighter Side

The National Air and Space Museum has roughly 20 lighters, mostly from before the Vietnam War. The majority are from the Lindbergh collection, says curator Alex Spencer. The Museum's popular culture items depicting Lindbergh's record flight include everything from ashtrays, underwear, and wristwatches, to purses and board games.
