P-51 Mustang “Voodoo”

Use the controls at the bottom of the frame to navigate, zoom in and out, or view full-screen.

Starting in 1998, this highly modified P-51 nibbled at the edges of a win at the National Championship Air Races in Reno. But not until 2013 did Voodoo, owned by Bob Button and raced by the young phenom Steven Hinton, break the 500 mph barrier and take home the trophy. It repeated as champion in the Unlimited category in 2014.
