M45 The Pleiades star cluster

The most recognizable star cluster in the sky, the Pleiades is enveloped in a blue reflection nebula. The light from the bright, blue stars reflects off of the dust cloud that the cluster is passing through. Also known as the Seven Sisters or M45, the Pleiades lies about 400 light years away toward the constellation of Taurus, the Bull.
