Bill Rogers of Tampa, Florida writes: Flagship Detroit was the 21st DC-3 delivered to American Airlines in 1937. It's the oldest flying DC-3 in the world.

OH YES THE DC-3 HAS BEEN AROUND FOR A LONG TIME.READ THE BOOK CALLED FATE IS THE HUNTER BY EARNEST K GANN LOVED THE STORY LINE AVIATION AT ITS BEST. RESPECTFULLY MR. WILLIAM MOESCH
