Dropping In

Corbett Bufton of Charleston, South Carolina writes, "I took this picture from the back of another C-17 on a local airdrop mission over South Carolina.  The drogue chute is in the slipstream, almost about to release a heavy extraction training platform at about 500 [feet] AGL.  No historical significance, but representative of missions currently in operation today."
