Refueling Angel Thunder
Angel Thunder is a massive combat search and rescue exercise that takes place each year centered at the Davis-Monthan Air Force Base in New Mexico. The exercise grows each year; in 2013 it included, in addition to the U.S. Air Force, members from the Navy, Army, and Air Force Reserves, along with partners in Brazil and Uruguay. Drills take place all the way from New Mexico to the Pacific Ocean. Above, Senior Airman Casey Kubick sets up a refueling point in White Sands.
