High Chair

Nearly 2.5 million YouTube viewers so far have been fascinated by the site of a Canadian Lego man lofted by balloon to the "edge of space" (85,000 feet). But it's hardly the first stunt of its kind. Among many other things, enterprising balloonists equipped with HD cameras have sent up a Twinkie, a plate of sushi, and -- still our favorite -- this empty chair launched in 2009 by JP Aerospace for a Toshiba TV commercial. René Magritte would no doubt be pleased.
