Blitzkrieg By Saucer
Producers of the Finnish science fiction comedy Iron Sky "crowdsourced" and "crowdfunded" their film, soliciting potential fans who contribute a portion of the film's cost and help hone its storyline about a secret Nazi base built on the dark side of the Moon during World War II. Iron Sky combines live action capture using wire-flown actors against a green screen with computer-generated visuals, to spin its dark tale of a massive armada of Nazi saucers set to attack in 2018, and an American astronaut, James Washington, who discovers the plot.
