A Texan Across the Pacific
One of the Warbirds Over Wanaka, New Zealand, on April 6 will be this Hawker Beechcraft Texan T-6C. The aircraft flew 15,761 miles from the U.S. as part of a circuit that began on March 16 and will eventually include visits to Canada, Greenland, Iceland, England, Italy, Dubai, India, Thailand and nearby Australia. At the Wanaka display, pilot Michael "Gameshow" Rambo will demonstrate the Texan's capabilities as a nimble, advanced aerobatic combat trainer.
