Strings Under Spacecraft
Every Wednesday for the next few weeks, you can head over to the National Air and Space Museum on the National Mall to catch the end of their Summer Concert Series. Look for them in the Space Race gallery, sitting underneath the recreation of the 1975 Apollo-Soyuz docking. A different ensemble plays each week; above is the U.S. Air Force Airmen of Note playing on June 27. Today at 12:30 to 1:30 p.m., the series features the Air Force Chamber Ensemble. The concerts continue through August 1.
