X-47B Takes-Off for Testing

The X-47B went on its first flight at Naval Air Station Patuxant River in Maryland last Sunday. The Northrup Grumman unmanned combat aerial vehicle will undergo testing over the next year, after which the Navy will take it out to sea to be used on aircraft carriers.
