Floating Blue Moon

There were lots of great pictures of the August 31 blue moon floating about the Internet, but we like this nice view. The European Space Agency's MSG-3 weather satellite took this image with its Spinning Enhanced Visible and Infrared Imager (SEVIRI). A blue moon, of course, is the fourth full moon in a season, which happens every few years.
