Martian Grand Canyon
While NASA's Curiosity rover sends back gorgeous landscapes from its trek through Gale Crater, the ESA's Mars Express orbiter continues to take high-resolution stereo images from above. This is Valles Marineris, an enormous series of chasms that stretches almost 2500 miles -- for comparison, Arizona's Grand Canyon only reaches about 280 miles.
