Record-Breaking Sky Lights
Last night, December 16, residents of the city of Puebla, Mexico, gathered to watch 16,000 sky lanterns released into the night air -- a Guinness world record, they claim. The "globos de Cantoya" event was sponsored by the state government agency for workers with disabilities, and the company Cinia, which employed disabled workers to make the lanterns over nine months, according to local papers Azteca Noticias and El Universal.
