Under a Winter Moon

On December 21, the day of the Winter Solstice, one of the residents of the International Space Station captured this scene of a Soyuz spacecraft arriving with three new crew members -- Chris Hadfield from the Canadian Space Agency, Tom Marshburn from NASA, and cosmonaut Roman Romanenko. They joined the other members of Expedition 34 -- Kevin Ford, Oleg Novitskiy, and Evgeny Tarelkin. It didn't take long for the three cosmonauts to get in the holiday mood.
