PANSTARRS in the Sky
Those of us in the Northern Hemisphere are getting a treat for the next few days. Comet PANSTARRS, named for the survey in Hawaii that discovered it, can be seen right at twilight. Observers have been taking lots of delightful pictures, but we were particularly impressed with the time-lapse taken by Michael Zeiler. Above is a screenshot, but be sure to click through to watch the whole 34 second video as the comet sets beyond the horizon.
