There's No Upside-Down
So much of life in space is planned down to the minute, making last week's unscheduled EVA by International Space Station flight engineers Tom Marshburn and Chris Cassidy, picture, quite unsual. The two astronauts had performed a spacewalk together before, which made the unexpected one easier, and they successfully replaced a pump control from the instrument that seemed to be leaking ammonia. Marshburn hopped home on a Soyuz two days later. The next crew is scheduled to launch from Kazakhstan on Tuesday, May 28 at 4:31 p.m. EDT.
