Spooky Enterprise
Even the space shuttle Enterprise gets into the Halloween spirit this time of year with some pumpkin-colored light under its nose. Air & Space Smithsonian Magazine photo editor Caroline Sheen caught it on film at the annual Air & Scare day, held October 24 at the Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center in northern Virginia. The event offered trick-or-treating, costume parades, and all sorts of hauntingly fun events for everyone from teens to tots, including an IMAX screening of "Where the Wild Things Are."
