The Space Shuttle was, by almost any measure, the most productive space vehicle of all time. It flew more miles, carried more people, delivered more cargo, and completed more missions than any spacecraft to date, while keeping the Hubble Space Telescope alive for 20 years, building a space station, launching critical spy satellites, and sending robotic probes to explore Jupiter, Venus, and the Sun.
