Directing Hermann Göring

Owen Crump, who headed the service's First Motion Picture Unit, recounted the story to filmmaker David Sewell for his as-yet unreleased documentary, "Special Film Project 186." (3:16)

Great story.
Too bad we didn't search Goering for the poison pill he had in his clothing. He avoided the hangman's noose that his buddies got for the most part.

Did Goering speak and understand English or did the Allied interviewer speak and understand German?
