Helicopter Rescue at 14,000 Feet

A helicopter pilot uses skills learned at the High Altitude Army Aviation Training Site in Colorado to pull off a mountain rescue. On September 21, 2013, HAATS instructor Anders Nielsen flew his Sikorsky UH-60 Black Hawk to rescue a fallen climber from North Maroon Peak, near Aspen. He had to land a wheel on a small rock to anchor his helicopter. (Video: Mountain Rescue Aspen) (01:56)
