On December 17, 1903, Orville Wright made the world’s first successful flight in a powered heavier-than-air flying machine. Points for knowing that? ZERO. What do you get for knowing that the Bell X-1 became the first airplane to fly faster than the speed of sound on October 14, 1947? NOTHING. This is our most brutal quiz so far, people.
