A Boeing 767 on the blocks at an airliner graveyard during a sand storm in Marana, Arizona.
"I took this image in the middle of a minor sand storm," says Allnutt. "There was an ethereal quality to the light, which illuminated the aircraft so perfectly that I couldn't help but notice. What struck me most though, was the contradiction between the lighthearted nature of the airliner's colorful markings and its state of utter disrepair. I composed the image to make the airliner, which was up on blocks, appear like it was floating and still 'alive.' Like the lingering online presence of the now-defunct carrier itself, the pretty markings seem to disguise the true nature of its health."
