D Day veteran C47 drops a stick of D day reenactors. You can see the static lines from the first 6 jumpers under the tail.
"This C-47, 42-100591, was assigned to the 84th Troop Carrier Squadron of the 437th Troop Carrier Group in England in 1944," says Hunt. "It towed a Waco CG4 glider carrying elements of the 82nd Airborne Infantry on the June 6 D-Day invasion. This was a moving tribute to the heroism of the men who flew the planes as well as those who jumped out of them into combat."
