The Flying Dorito

The Flying Dorito lands in a quiet Fort Worth residential neighborhood. Nicknamed the Flying Dorito because of its triangular flying wing shape, it is actually a full size mock-up of the McDonnell Douglas/General Dynamics A-12 Avenger II. It now rests on the just inside the outer fence line of Meacham Airport, near the Ft Worth Aviation Mueseum, awaiting restoration.
