4th Annual Air & Space Photo Contest
The Incredible Jug

This is a Republic P-47D fighter, nicknamed the Jug. It was the most popular fighter of WWII. I love the way the light reflects off the cowling and draws attention to the nose art, and how it bounces around the wing, putting bright and dark patches right next to each other.
