Tim Wiebe guides the only flying B-29 in the world, 'FiFi,' across the Cascades of Western Washington. 'FiFi' belongs to the Commemorative Air Force and travels the country every summer.
"The Commemorative Air Force's B-29 (FiFi) stopped at the Historic Flight Foundation at Paine Field, near Everett, Washington," says Matzelle. "As a volunteer at HFF, I worked closely with the crew through two flying weekends. As they departed Paine Field for their next stop in Coeur D'Alene, Idaho, another HFF volunteer and I were invited to accompany them on the flight. Here, co-pilot Tim Wiebe is flying from the right seat."
